Henry Lenz, Sr.

Henry Lenz Sr., age 86, of Abingdon, MD passed away on July 31, 2017 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Alfred Henry and Marie L. (Vohs) Lenz and was the husband of the late Carol Lenz for 30 years. He worked 43 years for Bethlehem Steel Corporation and was a US Navy-Korean War Veteran. He was past Post Commander for Post 17 and volunteered at many of the veteran events. All of his life he enjoyed traveling, camping and family.

Mr. Lenz is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Taylor and husband, William of Abingdon; son, Henry Lenz Jr. and wife, Shienel, of Baltimore; three step-daughters, Rose McDonald and friend, John Maslar, of PA, Connie McMahon and husband, Richard, of Darlington and Barbara Malatesta and husband, Frank, of Darlington; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Adeline Ebert and Warren Lenz.
