HENRY J. EINOLF, age 77, of Abingdon, MD, died on January 29, 2007, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Herman and Elizabeth Fursch Einolf. He retired after 40 years of service as a tour bus driver for Monumental Motor Tours. He drove many people all over the country with his job. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where he served as an usher, and belonged to the Sunday school. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Men’s Breakfast, which met on the second Tuesday of each month. He collected HO Model Trains and enjoyed making layouts for them. He was known to his grandchildren as “Poppie” and enjoyed spending time with them and his great grandchildren.
Mr. Einolf is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary L. Einolf (nee Crouse) of Abingdon, MD; a son, Eugene H. Einolf of Baltimore, MD; a daughter, Marie A. Dix of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Bridget L. Franz of York, PA, Joseph B. Dix of Baltimore, MD, Shawn M. Dix of Baltimore, MD, Daniel G. Einolf of York, PA, and Stephanie M. Gardner of Nottingham, MD; and two great grandchildren, Kortnee Franz and Jacob Franz, both of York, PA.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Einolf was predeceased by two brothers, Edward C. Einolf and C. Herman Einolf.
