Henry Charles Mountain

Henry Charles Mountain, age 81, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 20, 2023 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Harry and Helen (Barry) Mountain. He retired in 2002 from The John Carroll School after 28 years of service where he worked as a Religion and Western Civilization teacher and football and golf coach for many years. His golf team won a MIAA “A” conference championship. He also served as Junior Class Moderator for many years. He was elected to the John Carroll Athletic Hall of Fame as a former chairman (1989-1999) in 2001. He was a member of St. Margaret's Church since 1976. Henry enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ravens, Orioles, Notre Dame Football and golf. He was an avid follower of the news and politics.

Henry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolores (Campbell) Mountain; son, Henry "Skip" Robert Mountain; sisters, Peggy Shaffrey, Patsy Reed and Joanne Kirby; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
