Helen Virginia Johnson

Helen Virginia Johnson, a resident of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 91 on August 31, 2016 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. She was born in Bel Air to James Schwartz and Frances (Baker) Livezey, and was the wife of the late John P. Johnson Sr. She worked at the Commercial & Savings Bank on Main Street in Bel Air where she retired as Vice President after 35 years of service. She had lived all over the United States, due to her husband's military service in the Air Force, and enjoyed their travels together. She loved to play cards and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a genuinely nice person and never met a person she didn't like.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sharon Johnson; her sisters, Evelyn Kreiner and Alice Boettcher; her grandchildren, Christopher D. Johnson and Timothy A. Johnson; her great-granddaughter, Annabelle C. Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, John P. Johnson Jr.; four brothers and two sisters.
