Helen Ruth Switalski

Helen Ruth Switalski, age 95, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on June 18, 2023 at Lorien Bel Air in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Helvetia, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Winfred and Flossy (Payne) Snyder and wife of the late Michael John Switalski Jr.  She loved quilting, reading, bird watching and gardening.  

Helen is survived by her sons, Peter (Deborah) Switalski and Michael (Mary Coleen Thomas) Switalski III; grandchildren, Carly (Jesse) Stokum, Megan (Michael) Switalski; and great grandchild, Lydia Ruth Stokum.

In addition to her parents and husband Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Shard Snyder, Lyndel Snyder, Corbell Snyder, Winfred Snyder Jr., and Charles Snyder, sisters, Pearl Snyder, Evelyn Snyder and Edith Snyder.
