Helen Theresa Mincher

January 1, 1958 — April 2, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Theresa Mincher, age 67, of Aberdeen, Maryland, on April 2, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Vera (Teraskiewicz) Kazura, and the devoted wife of over 40 years to the late Kenneth Roger Mincher, Sr.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. Family was always her world, and she was especially close to her own mother. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren, sharing laughter, love, and the simple joys of life. A true Baltimore girl at heart, she loved crabs, exploring the city, and indulging in her favorite things: cheese steaks, chocolate, Coca-Cola, and good coffee. She could always be counted on to have her nails painted in a beautiful color.

A woman of many passions, Helen enjoyed gardening, sun tanning, and the healing power of crystals and stones. Her love for nature was reflected in the plants she cared for and the beauty she saw in the world around her. She also had a soft spot for animals, especially her grand dogs, who were treated like family.

Helen was known for her warm, welcoming personality and her ability to make everyone feel at ease. She had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed the occasional drink with good company, especially on special occasions. A fan of classic 70s rock music, she also shared a deep connection with her son as they spent hours talking about the mysteries of the world. Her love for horror movies and ghost hunting was a testament to her adventurous and open-minded spirit.

A woman of deep faith, Helen was close to the Lord and lived her life with honesty, kindness, and compassion. Her sweet personality and strong values touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her home was always a reflection of the love and care she put into everything she did.

Helen’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a shining example of love, kindness, and joy, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who loved her.

Helen is survived by her son, Kenneth Mincher, Jr.; daughters, Miranda Mincher, and Mandy Naylor; grandchildren, Vivian, Gavin, Everleigh, RJ, Zach; cousin, Bobby; and son in laws, Zack, and Jay; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
