Helen Marie Baker

HELEN MARIE BAKER, age 69, of Forest Hill died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on January 23, 2004. Born in Fallston, she was the daughter of the late Lester Howard and Ella Pearl Davis Mahaffey and the wife for 33 years of the late Joseph Harvey Baker, Jr. She had worked at Peppi’s Meat for over 15 years. A life long resident of Harford County, she was a member of the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Jarrettsville. She enjoyed gardening and loved reading and baking.

Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Teresa A. Hopkins of Darlington; Donna S. Baker of Forest Hill; two sisters, Hazel L. Balach of Delta; W. Jean Gentry of Darlington; and one grandson, Joseph E. Hopkins of Darlington.

Pallbearers will be: Donald Purkins, Ron McMillan, Steve Woods, Eric Smith, Jonathan Senior, Mark Almony, Steve Murphy and Joe Winkler. Honorary pallbearers will be: Robert Gentry, Richard Gentry, Dean Balach, and Mark Balach.
