Helen Magdeline Childs

HELEN MAGDELINE CHILDS, age 93, of Bel Air, died at Quail Run Assisted Living, Bel Air, on May 4, 2005. Born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Adam Charles and Gertrude Agnes Funk Dukehart and the wife of 45 years of the late Roland Ruff Childs. She was a member of the St. Margaret Catholic Church where she was a member of the Women’s Sodality Club.

Mrs. Childs is survived by two sons, Cyril V. Childs of Columbia and Roland R. Childs of Uniontown; three daughters, Joan A. Yost of Bel Air, Rita G. Chilcoat of Bel Air and Corrine D. Price of Sparks; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, James Dukehart, a sister, Gertrude Foreman, and a grandson, Michael Childs.
