Helen M. Lynch

Helen M. Lynch, age 95, of Abingdon, MD passed away on January 24, 2016 at home. Born in California, and raised in Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Schlager and Alma (Bodtke) Munson, and wife of the late Orville M. Lynch. She had worked in food service for the Montgomery County Public Schools and as a secretary for the FBI in Washington, DC. An active member of Bel Air United Methodist Church, she had volunteered, for 28 years, in the emergency room at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and in the thrift shop at Grove Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen.

Mrs. Lynch is survived by her son, Gregory P. Lynch and wife, Karen, of Abingdon; sister, Lorine Elliott of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Lauren Lynch and Jason Lynch both of Abingdon; five nieces and one nephew.
