Helen H. Herrin

Helen H. Herrin, age 91, of Joppa, MD, died on June 27, 2009, at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Norton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jonny Daniel and Ida Johnson Hopkins and wife of the late Paschal E. Herrin. She had worked for Continental Can Company where she was a double seamer operator. A longtime member of Towne Baptist Church in Joppa, she enjoyed bowling and dancing.

Mrs. Herrin is survived by three grandchildren, William E. Whitaker of Bel Air, MD, Teresa A. Hartkopf of Cumming, GA, and Lisa H. Blake of Joppa, MD; and son-in-law, Earnest Whitaker of Joppa, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Betty Jean Whitaker.
