Helen G. Chambers

Helen G. Chambers, age 94, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 9, 2013 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace. Born in Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Egbert and Mary Jane Mitchell Gross and wife of the late Ernest William Chambers. A lifelong resident of Harford County, she was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and had worked for 28 years at Aberdeen Proving Ground where she was a clerk.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by her son, Charles Chambers and wife, Sharon, of Joppa; daughters, Betty Willick and husband, Charles, of Havre de Grace and Ann Hawkins and husband, Darrell, of LaPlace, LA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Bill Chambers and a grandson.
