Helen Ann Sobolewski

HELEN ANN SOBOLEWSKI, age 91, of Palm Bay Florida, died at Palm Bay Community Hospital on June 3, 2006.

Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the John Joseph and Catherine Anna Pluto Byorick and the wife of the late William Claude Sobolewski.

A resident of Joppatowne most of her life, she also lived overseas as a wife of a military officer. She moved to Florida following the death of her husband. She enjoyed volunteering in various organizations. She was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Joppa, Maryland.

Mrs. Sobolewski is survived by three daughters, Claudette Pulsts of Palm Bay, Florida, Melanie Stasch of Port Orange, Florida, and Jane Hanle of South Lake, Texas; two sisters, Leona Gust of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania and Sylvia Stanko of Garfield, New Jersey; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Joppa, Maryland on Friday, June 9 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph C. Simmons officiating. Friends may call at the McComas Funeral Home, P.A., Abingdon, Maryland on Thursday, June 8 from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
