Hazel V. Phipps

October 14, 1918 — February 13, 2006

HAZEL V. PHIPPS, age 87, formerly of Street, MD, died on February 13, 2006 at the Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Sally Tidwell Senter, and the wife for 49 years of the late Thomas Virgil Phipps, Sr. She was a homemaker, who loved to be outdoors and garden. She was active in North Harford Baptist Church. Her family said that she was a devoted mother and wife.

Mrs. Phipps is survived by one son, Thomas Virgil Phipps, Jr. of Maumee, OH; two daughters, Joyce Kay Curry of Havre de Grace, MD and Patricia D. Marciniak of Parkville, MD; one brother, Earl Senter of Ohio; one half-brother, Jerry Baker of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Jeff Edwards of Delta, PA, Matthew Edwards of Aberdeen, MD, Jo Beth Tully of Bel Air, MD, Heidi Holthaus of Parkville, MD, John Baur of Bel Air, MD, Wendy Echelberry of Ohio and Wanda Mason of Ohio; and 16 great-grandchildren.
