Harry Edward Sentman

HARRY E. SENTMAN of Bel Air, MD and Winter Park, FL passed away November 17, 2005 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando, FL after a long battle with lymphoma. He was born April 27, 1941 in Havre de Grace, MD to Henry S. and Mary Heron Sentman.
Harry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Laura Vass Sentman; his children, Cindy Lee Sentman of Winter Park, FL, Mark J. and Patricia Sentman of Abingdon, MD and Greg S. Sentman of Bel Air, MD; his grandsons, Gavin Sentman and Daniel Sentman of Abingdon, MD, and James and Rebecca Vass of Fancy Gap, VA.

Harry was devoted to his family, his friends and his dogs. He served in the Army and also went on to serve his community as a volunteer firefighter for over 25 years with Susquehanna Hose Company, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company. After his retirement in 2004 from Fort Meade, his happiest times were with his family and grandchildren. There were many trips to Disneyworld and hours spent in the pool with his grandsons.

There are no words to express our profound loss. Anyone who met or knew him understands this. He will be with us forever in our hearts.
