HAROLD "POP" LLOYD MOORE, age 74, of Forest Hill, died at his home on December 30, 2003. Born in Wythe County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Joseph Alton and Evelyn Margaret Maxwell Moore. He had retired in 1981 from General Motors where he worked on the assembly line. He was involved in the bus ministry at Emmorton Baptist Church for 14 years. He managed and enjoyed softball for Emmorton Church and Joppa Automatic. He helped with his wife's Sunday School classes for 25 years and was a trustee and an usher for Emmorton Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and his John Deere Tractor. He was very accomplished for being self-taught and he loved the Lord.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruby Allene Scott Moore; two sons, Harold ABoone@ Moore of Abingdon; Jackie AJack@ Moore of Bel Air; three daughters, Margaret ACrickett@ Naylor of Abingdon; Faye Carter of Forest Hill; Jennifer Moore of Belcamp; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, January 1, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

DUANE S. RAHN, age 75, of Joppa, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on December 29, 2003. Born in Geneseo, Illinois, he was the son of the late Herbert H. and Leona G. Roesner Rahn. He worked as a longshoreman for 32 years in Baltimore. A 36 year resident of Harford County, he was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. He raised and showed rabbits and loved to garden. He served his country in the military.
Mr. Rahn is survived by his wife of 50 years, Constance Dorothy Rahn; two sons, Paul D. Rahn of Jarrettsville; William H. Rahn of Gainesville, Virginia; two daughters, Ann E. Taylor of Havre de Grace; Mary L. Edwards of Churchville; one sister, Fama Prokup of Geneseo, Illinois; and 10 grandchildren.
