Harold "Larry" Joines

Harold "Larry" Joines, age 79, of Street, MD passed away on December 22, 2018 at his home. Born in Street, he was the son of the late Elbert and Mildred (Patrick) Joines. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he worked as an Artillery Repair Leader for Department of Army from which he retired after 30 years of service in 1996. Mr. Joines enjoyed fishing, traveling and camping. He also enjoyed Prophecy Conferences, reading, working on cars and a variety of small projects.

Mr. Joines is survived by his wife, Edith A. Joines; daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Krauer; two sisters, Joyce (Grover) Mellin and Shelva (Rev. Ronald) Calhoun; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Ruth Joines, Judy Brown, Virginia Leonard, and David Joines.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home in Bel Air, Maryland on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11am to 12 noon. Services will follow at noon with Rev. Noah A. Tharp officiating. Interment will take place at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
