Harold Gene Taylor

Harold Gene Taylor, age 84, of Edgewood, MD passed away on March 14, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Seco, KY, he was the son of Robert Luther and Virgie (Sexton) Taylor and was the husband of the late Mildred Grace Taylor. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked in the steel industry. He was a member of Towne Baptist Church in Joppa and the Rosedale VFW. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome, was a dog lover, and loved to fish.

Mr. Taylor is survived by daughter, Rhonda K. Taylor (Joel Wever) of Airville, PA; brother, Curtis D. Taylor (Brenda) of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Phylis Dotson (Frank) of Columbia, SC, Norma Mullins and Carol Cooper (Wendell) all of Edgewood; grandchildren, Jeanine M. Ray (Keith), Kristen M. Burton (Jonathan); Tracey Burns (Mike); Donald J. Lucich, Jr.; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Snowden.
