Harold Dean West

Harold Dean West, age 73, of Bel Air, MD passed away on June 19, 2012. Born in Glenville, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Jackson and Flora Isabelle Garris West. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a 1956 graduate of North Harford High School. A former resident of Washington, DC, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service in that area. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, and walking, especially to the Bel Air branch of the library.

Mr. West is survived by his brother, Garland West of Williamsburg, VA; and sisters, Boneta Eastridge of Darlington, MD, Celia Tyson of Pylesville, MD and Katherine Chatham of Darlington, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Garnet West and Marvin West; and sister, Mildred West.
