Harold D. Kilby

Harold D. Kilby, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 82 on October 25, 2016 at his home. He was born in Bel Air to Delmas Jennings and Selma Clyde (Edwards) Kilby. He served in the U.S. Army then worked as a mason in the construction business founding Eastern Mason Contractors, Inc. in 1972. He also loved to farm and hunt. He was always helping others and his family and his church family at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, were the most important things in his life.

Survivors include his wife, Dora M. Kilby; his children, Larry Kilby (Kathy), Patty Smith (Jake), Sandy McCrory (Marty), Lisa Holthaus (Charles) and Carol Otto (Alan); his siblings, Charles Kilby, Vonley Kilby, Barbara Anders, Iva Jean Boylan and Kathleen Cox; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Kilby.

Serving as his pallbearers are his grandsons.
