Harold Andersen

HAROLD ANDERSEN, age 85, of Abingdon, MD, died on November 6, 2006, at his home. Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Halfdan and Ingeborg Eide Andersen. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII. He was a regional manager in the construction business. He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and enjoyed taking care of his home and gardening with his wife.

Mr. Andersen is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marion Ruth Stark Andersen of Abingdon, MD; two daughters, Susan Elaine Moore of Ophelia, VA, and Sandra Louise May of New Freedom, PA; one sister, Lillian Jensen of Willow Street, PA; and two grandchildren, Erica Susan Miller of Bel Air, MD, and Kathryn Whitfield Moore of Kansas City, KS.
