Hans W. Luethy

HANS W. LUETHY, age 66, of Abingdon, MD, died on December 21, 2006 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Washington, D. C., he was the son of the late Hans Reinhard and Gertrude Goertz Luethy. He retired from Comcast after 20 years, where he had been a sales manager. He enjoyed the water and was an avid crabber and fisherman and also played golf. He was an avid Ravens fan and attended games regularly. He attended his grandchildren’s sports and was known as “Opa” to all of them.

Mr. Luethy is survived by his wife of 13 years, Lillian E. Moyer Luethy of Abingdon, MD; five children, Jennifer L. Martindale of Forest Hill, MD, Michael H. Luethy of Mystic, CT, Stephan H. Luethy of Easton, MD, William F. Burkett of Phoenix, AZ and Lisa J. Minich of Abingdon, MD; one sister, Elizabeth Della Lana of Washington, D. C.; one brother, Harry Voght of Germany; and fourteen grandchildren.
