Hans Hillebrenner

Hans Hillebrenner died at the age of 89 on June 3, 2016 at his home in Churchville, MD. He was born in Coney Island, NY to Rudolph August Hillebrenner and Minnie (Hansen) Hillebrenner. He served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Seaman First Class. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Bel Air and St. Paul's in Brooklyn, NY where he sang in the choir and was Superintendent for their Sunday School. He was also a representative for the Maryland and New York Aid Association for Lutherans and a member of the American Legion Post #39 in Bel Air.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years Elnora Hillebrenner; his son Michael W. Hillebrenner of Jersey City, NJ; his daughters Susan J. Chapman and Brenda L. Hillebrenner both of Kailua, HI; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
