Hamilton Austin Maccord Jr.

Hamilton Austin Maccord Jr., age 82, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on January 24, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Hamilton Maccord Sr. and Myrtle (Burgoon) Maccord. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked as a salesman for a medical equipment company and enjoyed sail boating.

Hamilton is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia Maccord; sons, Christopher (Carolyn) Maccord and Andrew (Carla) Maccord; step daughters, JoAnna (Thomas Sr.) Schmidt and Jennifer (Carlos Flowers) Cercado; grandchildren, Johnathon Maccord, Thomas Schmidt Jr., Laurel Maccord, Italy Flowers and Kali Flowers; and great grandchild, James Maccord.
