Halsey Roberts

HALSEY ROBERTS, age 77, of Joppa, died in University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, on May 11, 2003. Born in Panther, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Melvin and Victoria Bailey Roberts, and the husband for 45 years of the late Nancy Bailey Roberts. Retiring after 34 years of service, he was an iron worker for Bethlehem Steel. A resident of Harford for 50 years, he enjoyed bowling. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Roberts is survived by one step-daughter, Loufanny Roberts of Joppa; one brother, Bruce E. Roberts of Joppa; one sister, Stella Bailey of Joppa; four step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
