Gregory Joseph Karwacki Sr.

Gregory Joseph Karwacki Sr., age 58, of Abingdon, MD, died on September 26, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of James Stanley and Regina Rose Emala Karwacki of Baltimore, Maryland. He worked as a diesel mechanic, was a good neighbor, a good friend who would help anyone, and had a great sense of humor. He was a loving and accepting husband, father, and best friend. He loved being a grandfather and his granddaughters were the center of his universe. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish for 32 years, and also a member of Father Wolfe Council of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sonja M. Karwacki of Abingdon, MD; son, Gregory Joseph Karwacki, Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Belcamp, MD; daughters, Sarah Rose Paff and husband, John Martin, of Abingdon, MD and Kathryn Blevins and husband, Wayne, of Level, MD; brothers, James J. Karwacki, Christopher J. Karwacki, Sr. and Mark J. Karwacki; sister, Regina R. Litvin; grandchildren, Emma Rose and Anna Grace Paff, and Mackenzie Elizabeth and Maggie Rose Blevins; and his faithful K9 companion, Carolina Ruby Red.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Karwacki, Jr., John Paff, Wayne Blevins, Matthew Lull, Christopher J. Karwacki Sr., James J. Karwacki, and Mark J. Karwacki.
