Gregory Hillenburg

Gregory Hillenburg, age 78, of Perryman, MD, passed away on March 22, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Roanoke City, VA, he was the son of the late Kelly Nugent and Anna Mae Vest Hillenburg. A veteran of the U. S. Air Force, he was also a Virginia Tech Alumni class of 1961. He retired from AT&T, formerly Western Electric, where he was an engineer and a manager. He was also a Civil War buff and an avid stamp collector.

Mr. Hillenburg is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha Hillenburg of Perryman, MD; sons, David Hillenburg of Edgewood, MD, Chris Hillenburg of Newark, DE and Mark Hillenburg of Brattleboro, VT; daughters, Lisa Lancaster of Pasadena, MD, Kelly Desgrosseilliers of Middletown, DE and Kimberly Nelson of DeKalb, IL; and grandchildren, Greg, Taylor, Kadin, Anna-Lisa, Kate, Rebecca and Lilly. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Kelly Hillenburg.
