Gregory Earl Carr, age 52, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on December 18, 2020 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Bel Air, Maryland, he was the son of Willard Earl and Dorothy Elizabeth (Roberts) Carr. He graduated from Bel Air High School and Harford Community College with an AA degree. He grew up in Bel Air United Methodist Church and was in DeMolay. He worked for Basics, Metro and now Shoppers for over 33 years working his way up to a co-manager in his field. He also just graduated Sheffield School of Recording Arts this past August was starting his own business with sound and website dkcaudio.com. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church since 2006. He just loved people, he always saw the good in everyone and always had something positive to say about others. His passion was sound and music, he was the chairman of multimedia and very active in managing sound and video with his church. He loved serving the Lord and was involved with VBS every year when his job permitted him. He was also very passionate about singing. He sang solos with the church as well as in the choir. He and his beloved wife, Tammy have been together for 28 years and married for 23. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his wife and fur baby Keira (last surviving pup), Gregory is survived by his two sisters, Jean Mercado and Susan Carr; brother in-law Robert Mercado; nephew, Bobby Mercado; three nieces, Meghan and Sarah Dowell, and Brittani Creamer; great niece Alaina; sister-in-law, Diana (Dave) Waden; mother-in-law, Jeanne Louise Bennett; aunt, Rose Madeline Swetz; and many many cousins, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Clark Morgan Creamer and father-in-law, Dallas Leroy Bennett. And his fur babies Chip and Daisy, his pups.
