Gregory Alan Bem

Gregory Alan Bem, age 33, of Elkton, Maryland passed away on October 14, 2019 at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Kathleen (Bates) Ditmore and Stepfather, Bernard Francis Ditmore III of Bel Air, MD. Greg was a decorated Veteran of the U.S. Army and was deployed for two tours over seas where he showed multiple acts of valor. Greg was very passionate about his career and excelled in his position to the vital role of Lead Director at a security firm. His off duty hobbies consisted of range and firearm training. He enjoyed beach life, the love for his car, riding motorcycles and watching his favorite team, the Baltimore Ravens, with the family. Most importantly Greg took pride in and cherished his time being a father.
In addition to his Mother and Stepfather, Gregory is survived by Fiancée: Deya Marie O'Toole; children, Alexis Aivah Bem, Alyssa Marie O'Toole and Anthony Alexander O'Toole; brothers, Ryan Michael Bem, Kyle Bruce Bem and Benjamin Adam Ditmore; and Aunt and Uncle, Charlene and David Westcott.
