Grace Elizabeth Farrington

Grace Elizabeth Farrington, age 87, of Edgewood, MD, died on November 16, 2009 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, MD. Born in Washington County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Morris Lane and Roxanne Brewer Doss and wife of the late Wayne M. Farrington. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and loved to iron. An avid reader, especially the Bible, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Farrington is survived by her sons, Douglas W. Farrington of LaPlata, MD, Jerry Farrington of Dobson, NC, Ronald W. Farrington of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Gloria Courtamanche of Newburn, NC; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Maurice and Dwight Farrington; daughter, Charlene Williams; and significant other, Bern Carr.

Pallbearers were Carey Williams, Craig Williams, Charles Farrington, Brian Farrington, Robert Slunt, and Steve Soter.
