Grace E. Lambert

Grace E. Lambert, age 94, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on February 29, 2012 at her home. Born in Giles County, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Herman Martin Sr. and Myrtle Glade Price Martin, and wife of the late Jones Lambert. In her younger years, she would babysit the children of Bata Shoe Company employees where she worked. A life member and clerk at Joppa Church of God, she enjoyed reading the Bible and watching the Trinity Channel on television. She also loved canning and baking.

Mrs. Lambert is survived by her sons, Gerald Lambert and wife, Usa, of Duncanville, TX and James Lambert and wife, Phyllis, of Aberdeen, MD; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Marvin, James H. Jr., and Frank Martin and Nita Bland.
