Gorman Elbert Trice

October 8, 1922 — February 22, 2006

GORMAN “HANK” TRICE, age 83, of Abingdon, died at Lorien Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on February 22, 2006. Born in St. Michaels, Maryland, he was the son of the late Samuel E. Trice and the late Nola Marshall Deknatal and the husband of the late Mary Knight Trice. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 35 years where he was a truck driver and also had worked at Glen L. Martin. He was also a NASCAR driver and was known in the industry as “Hank.” He served in the Army during WWII.

Mr. Trice is survived by two sons, Steve Trice of Abingdon, MD and Paul Trice of Edgemere, MD; three daughters, Sandra Gephardt of White Marsh, MD, Linda Gull of West Virginia and Sheree Trice of Chicago, IL; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
