Goldie Z. Crouse

Goldie Z. Crouse, age 89, of Forest Hill, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on September 29, 2005. Born in Grayson County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Ogever and Bell May Brooks, and the wife of the late A. Lee Crouse. She enjoyed country music and her grandsons.
Mrs. Crouse is survived by one son, Charles L. Crouse of North East, two brothers, Frank and Brooks of Pennsylvania, and Garmon Brooks of Milford, Delaware: six sisters, Betty Younger of Forest Hill, Ellen Stafford of North East, Helen Brown of North East, Della Smith of Elkton, Ruth Kline of Elkton, and Ann Hammer of Rising Sun: two grandsons, Hans Crouse of Birmingham, Alabama and Lee Crouse of Rising Sun: and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Carl Brooks and Jesse Brooks: and two sisters, Martha Brock and Minnie Delp.
