Goldie Marie Barcase

GOLDIE MARIE BARCASE, age 77, of Abingdon, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on June 7, 2003. Born in Romney, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Birdie Catherine Poland Ganoe and the wife of the late Frederick Joseph Barcase. A homemaker, she had also worked at McDonald’s on Plumtree Road for several years and was affectionately known as Boots.

Mrs. Barcase is survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by three sons, Robert Frederick Barcase; Joseph Gregory Barcase; and Norman Lee Barcase. She was the last surviving daughter of her five other brothers and sisters.
