Gloria Marie Carter

November 4, 1924 — October 27, 2004

GLORIA MARIE CARTER, age 79, of Bel Air, died in Harford Memorial Hospital on October 27, 2004. Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of the late Barney Stanford and Lucy Texas Harris Coulson. She was a member of the Hickory Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher. She enjoyed feeding birds, especially wild birds and enjoyed feeding them out of her hand. She enjoyed all animals. She was a supporter of Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company.

Mrs. Carter is survived by one son, Gerry Reid Carter and his wife, Ida of Bel Air; two daughters, Guyda A. Bostic and her husband, Sonny of Bel Air; Geneva M. Johnson and her husband, Ray of North East; one brother, Reid Coulson of Edgewood; one sister, Helen Gillespie of Edgewood; four grandchildren, Shayna Marie Carter; Michael D. Carter; Matthew J. Carter; and Sara R. Carter all of Bel Air. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Glenn Carter.

Pallbearers were: Ray Johnson, Sonny Bostic, Jeff Bouck, Leslie Coulson, Mark Coulson, and Ron Bullock.
