Gloria A. Gaultney

Gloria A. Gaultney, age 85, of Joppa, MD, died on February 7, 2011 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Joppa, MD, she was the daughter of the late Christopher Frederick and Jennie Leota Akerly Hoffman. A lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, she was a homemaker and worked as a bus attendant for John Archer School.

Mrs. Gaultney is survived by her husband, of almost 63 years, Basil Hicks Gaultney of Joppa, MD; son, Basil H. Gaultney Jr. and wife, Cheryl, of Churchville, MD, granddaughter, Kelly Gaultney of Riverside, MD and great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Triston McCord; daughter, Jennie E. Harkins and husband, Larry, of Street, MD, and grandchildren, Matthew Jacobs of Forest Hill, MD and Amber E. Harkins of Street, MD; and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry Harkins, Matthew Jacobs, Daniel Howell, Brian Haley, Dick Hall, and Bill Jacobs. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Walls, Lee Miller, Bob Bailey, Harold Boggs, and Hayden Foy.
