GLENN WILLIAM SAMPLES, Sr., age 74, of Edgewood, Maryland, formerly of Rock Cave, West Virginia, died in Perry Point Veterans Hospital, Perryville, Maryland, on March 14, 2005. Born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Amoss Marion Samples and the late Edna Mae Burnside Huffman and the husband of the late Edna Stewart Samples. He worked as a foreman at Paul J. Roch Construction in Baltimore for 32 years. He had retired from McJunckin Pipe Company in Buckhannon, WV. He had a lot of friends at Pritt Mountain in West Virginia. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Samples is survived by four sons, Ronnie Samples of Edgewood, MD; Eddie Samples of Rock Cave, West Virginia; Glen Samples of Rock Cave, West Virginia; Dennis Samples of Norristown, PA; one daughter, Dora Crumb of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Gary Samples of Rock Cave, West Virginia; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Cecil Samples.
