Glenn James Chlan, age 78, of Nottingham, Maryland, passed away on October 17, 2021 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Cliffe) Chlan. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Emil and Martha (Kiebler) Chlan. He was an avid boater and owned several boats throughout his life. Glenn owned and restored antique cars; he was very proud of his antique 61 Chevy Stepside that he restored and displayed at many cars shows. Glenn was also known to do some drag racing. He enjoyed playing pool, and he was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. Glenn loved his family and his family loved him. Glenn will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by his sons, Charles E. Muir Jr. (Kimberly), Mark A. Muir (Lynn); daughter, Brenda K. Layne (Bill); son Bryan Muir (deceased); brother, Wayne F. Chlan; grandchildren, Kent Muir, Lauren Muir, Jesse Partoza, Charles "Colt" Muir III, Floyd Muir, Angela Kirchner, and Joseph Layne; and great grandchildren, Brian, Jacklynn, Hunter and Willow. He leaves behind many friends.
