Gladys Virginia Prescott

July 4, 1910 — October 20, 2004

G. VIRGINIA PRESCOTT, age 94, of Bel Air, MD died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD on October 20, 2004. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Laura Virginia Tilghman Seeger, and the wife of the late John (Jack) H. Prescott who was the former editor of the Hunterdon County Democrat Newsaper in Flemington, New Jersey. She was a resident of Harford County for the last 10 years in Bel Air. She was a resident of Philadelphia for 15years after her retirement as head of the E.K.G. Department at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey. She was a member of the Bel Air Newcomers Club and a docent at Liriodendron in Bel Air. She had also been a guide at the Powell House in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Prescott is survived by one daughter, Holly Garrison Greene of Bel Air, MD; two step-daughters, Ruth Howard of Portland, Oregon; Suzanne Hanners of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kimberly C. Roberts of Darlington, Timothy D. Garrison of Laurel, MD; two great-grandchildren, Caleb M. Frick of Abingdon, MD; A. Michael Frick of Havre de Grace, MD. She was one of thirteen children.
