Gladys Taylor Rupert

Gladys Taylor Rupert, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 24, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Louis Thomas Taylor and Grace Viola Groth. A resident of Harford County since 1972, she was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and was very active in church ministries. She loved to read and travel and kept daily journals. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Rupert is survived by her husband of 60 years, James L. Rupert of Bel Air, MD; son, James Paul Rupert of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Joan Rupert Robertson of Bel Air, MD, Jean Rupert Smetana of Huntingtown, MD, and June Rupert Chocklett of Daleville, VA; sister, Virginia R. Taylor of Baltimore, MD; and ten grandchildren.
