Gladys Mae Harris

Gladys Mae Harris, age 92, of Edgewood, MD passed away on February 23, 2016 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Lynchburg, VA, she is the daughter of the late Frank Nelson Hawkins and Gertrude Mamie (Wooldridge) Hawkins and wife of the late George Curtis Harris. She enjoyed attending church, reading the Bible and being around people. She liked to knit and crochet, play the harmonica and the piano.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her sons, Adrian N. Harris of Edgewood and George C. Harris Jr; and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Shirley Guthrie, Beatrice May and Doris Trent.
