Gladys Laura Owens

GLADYS LAURA OWENS, age 92, of Joppatowne, MD, died on July 10, 2008 at her home. Born in Patton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James and Matilda Dorrington Williams and wife of the late Elwood Ralph Owens. She had worked at G. C. Murphy Company where she was an assistant manager.

Mrs. Owens is survived by a son, David Merle Owens of Joppatowne, MD; and a daughter, Doris May Owens of Joppatowne, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Bert Williams, William Williams, and Fred Williams; and two sisters, H. May Miller and C. Maude Dowey.
