Gladys Kolson

Gladys Kolson, age 87, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 16, 2012 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Pearl Howard Penix and wife of the late Lawrence Kolson. She had worked for Thrift Drug Store at the Campus Hills Shopping Center and was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. She was past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Bel Air American Legion Post 39 and Treasurer and was a member of the Churchville Golden Agers and First Friday's Club at St. Margaret.

Mrs. Kolson is survived by her sons, Rev. Lawrence F. Kolson of Bradshaw, MD and Philip J. Kolson and wife, Lea, of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Ona Mae Barker of Ashland, KY and Betty Miller of Somerset, NJ; and grandchildren, Lauren M. Kirchner and husband, Matthew, and Kelly A., Julie M. and Jonathan P. Kolson.
