Gladys Joy Murphy

GLADYS JOY MURPHY, age 81, of Bel Air, MD, died on May 30, 2007, at the home of her daughter and son in law. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys Crosby and the wife of the late James Gerald Murphy. She was retired from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York. She was a Harford County resident for five years and volunteered at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland

Mrs. Murphy is survived by two sons, James P. Murphy of New York, and Keith B. Murphy of Yonkers, NY; two daughters, Maureen E. Murphy of Bronx, NY, and Colleen J. Giegerich and her son in law Stephen Giegerich of Bel Air, MD; one sister, Vivian Kyritz of New Milford, NJ; and four grandchildren, James J. Giegerich of Baltimore, MD, Christine J. Giegerich and Daniel P. Giegerich, both of Bel Air, MD, and Patrick Murphy, of Yonkers, NY.
