Gilbert L. Rhoades

GILBERT L. RHOADES, age 86, of Bel Air, died at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, on February 22, 2006. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Carrie Meyer Rhoades. He was the last of 11 brothers and sisters. He worked at American Standard for 27 ½ years as a second seiver making bath tubs. He retired from DAP, Inc., North Point, after 11 ½ years of service where he was a janitor. A resident of Creston Road, Dundalk for 50 years, he moved to Bel Air in January 2006. He served in the Army during WWII.

Mr. Rhoades is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beatrice V. Keene Rhoades; a son, Leroy Rhoades of Virginia; two daughters, Dianna Rhoades of South Carolina and Carol Wilson and her husband, James Wilson, of Abingdon, MD; four grandchildren, Terry Russo of Forest Hill, MD, Robin Jarvis of Havre de Grace, MD, Scott Wilson of Finksburg, MD, and Jamie Outlaw of Abingdon, MD; and ten great grandchildren.
