Gilbert Charles Anderson

Gilbert Charles Anderson, age 89, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on October 9, 2013 at Perry Point VA Hospital in Perry Point, MD. Born in Scottdale, PA, he was the son of the late Irvin and Ida Mae Geary Anderson and husband of the late Evelyn Anderson who passed away in July of this year, and his first wife, Bessie Grace Anderson who passed in 1984. He served our country, until 1964, in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of both WWII and the Korean War.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his son, John Gilbert Anderson of GA; daughters, Carolyn Brooks of Plymouth, NC, Donna Faye Dawsey of Pearlington, MS, Barbara Jean Taylor of Albany, GA; stepsons, Doug Jalufka of Aberdeen and David Jalufka of CA; brother, Cecil Lenwood Anderson of PA; sister, Janet Louise Normand of OR; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wives, he was predeceased by his son, Charles Edward Anderson and grandson, Michael Frank.
