GERTRUDE “GERTIE” TUCKER, age 90, of Edgewood, died at Mariner Health of Bel Air on June 22, 2005. Born in Randolph, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late William Stanley and Mary Elizabeth Brunnell Loso and the wife of the late Oscar L. Tucker. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #17 of Edgewood. She cooked for the American Legion in Edgewood until she turned 80 years old, retiring after 20 years. She was a tireless volunteer at Perry Point VA Hospital, serving thousands of hours.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by two sons, Albert L. Tucker of Tucson, Arizona and Thomas E. Tucker of Oxnard, California; three daughters, Elizabeth A. Jamack of Edgewood, Victoria J. Stultz of Edgewood, and Linda C. Alex of Garberville, California; a sister, Gladys Montgerard of Staunton, Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Stanley Loso; three sisters, Blanche Lorrine Aubin, Lena Mae Passino, and Edna Shannon; and two grandchildren.
