Gertrude Eva Tuszynski

GERTRUDE EVA TUSZYNSKI, age 87, of Forest Hill, MD, formerly of Canton, MD, died on September 5, 2007 at Rock Spring Village in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Johanna Kilkowski Tuszynski. Ms. Tuszynski and her identical twin sister, Lillian, were born on South Ann Street. Their family moved to a farm in Parkton, MD when they were small. During their high school years, the sisters were outstanding Baltimore county high school athletes in basketball, fieldball, and track. They lived together all their lives and traveled many places together. Ms. Tuszynski worked at Montgomery Wards for 40 years, where she was a supervisor of packing for their catalog department. She crocheted baby clothes and blankets and loved gardening.

Mrs. Tuszynski is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Peter Tuszynski; two sisters Lillian S. Tuszynski, her identical twin, and Josephine Ziemba.
