Gertrude Elizabeth Parks, formerly of Edgewood, died at Harford Memorial Hospital on July 25, 2005. She was 81.
Born in Havre de Grace on January 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Anna Bearsch Welzenbach. She was the wife of the late Enoch Parks.
Mrs. Parks was a life-time resident of Harford County and lived on the family farm off of Willoughby Beach Road in Edgewood until she moved to Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air in 2004.
Mrs. Parks was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Joppa since her baptism on January 24, 1924. She loved her Lord and was an active member of her church. She served a term as President of the Trinity Women’s Ministry. She also worked for both the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and School for over 20 years as an office secretary.
She is survived by her brother, Philip Welzenbach of Edgewood, and her Godson, Pastor Paul Austin, of Bel Air.
Pallbearers will be: Phil Parks, Paul Austin, Robert Bearsch, and Brian Austin.
