Gertrude Doris Labrecque

GERTRUDE DORIS LaBRECQUE, age 77, of Joppatown, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on January 29, 2004. Born in Westford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Henry Louis and Ida Labrie Simard.
Formerly of Massachusetts, she was a longtime member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bradshaw. She enjoyed spending time with her family for any occasion.

Mrs. LaBrecque is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph Marcel LaBrecque; four daughters, Lorraine Theresa McGraw of Illinois; Linda Marcella Ross of Aberdeen; Michelle Helen Moore of Jarrettsville; Elaine Marie Quinn of Bel Air; one brother, Rene Simard of Virginia; two sisters, Blanche Denis of Methuen, Massachusetts; Anita Karafelis of Lowell, Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, William Joseph LaBrecque; two brothers, Raymond Simard; Roger Simard; and one sister, Rita LeBlanc.
