Gertrude A. Engstrand

Gertrude A. Engstrand, 77, of Bel Air, MD passed away on November 21, 2015 at her home. Born in Wichita, KS, she was the daughter of the late Harley Chester Weyer and Oleta Tabbing Weyer. She was a graduate of Wichita High School and had attended classes at both Kansas University and Harford Community College. She was a devoted mother, homemaker, and worked for the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration. She was a past Camp Fire Girls and Blue Bird Leader and was a member of Toastmaster's in Bel Air.

Ms. Engstrand is survived by her daughter, Susan Brooks Engstrand of Fallston; brother, Edward Weyer of Grove, OK; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and friend, Rob Hackett. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, Martin Todd Engstrand.
